What are The Prices For The Cheapest Used Japanese Vehicles ?

Most Customers Are Concerned With The Huge Price Difference Of Used Cars From Japan.

This is a question which really boggles the minds of many people who come to Durban to buy used Japanese vehicles. Almost each and every customer wants to know the exact price of the vehicle they will be coming to buy. However this is not as easy as it sounds. Partly this is because each and every dealer has their own set of prices and the other reason being that we are dealing with second hand vehicles here.

Why Is There A Huge Difference In Prices Of Used Vehicles From Japan ?

The reason why these kinds of vehicles have a huge price difference is also partly because these dealership owners in Durban buy their vehicles from many different places in japan and each place from which they buy also has its own set of prices. Given such a scenario, it therefore becomes a bit difficult for the dealerships to have a uniform set of prices. Besides each dealership encounters certain expenses when buying and exporting the vehicles to Durban South Africa. For example a company which uses a cheap shipping company is also likely to have lower prices than the one which would have used or paid more expensive shipping and clearing companies.

More so some dealers have years of experience in the industry to such an extent that they now know all the ropes when buying , importing and exporting cars from japan. They now know how to bring the vehicles to Durban at the least of expenses. Obviously seasoned players in the Industry will have the lowest of prices when compared to the rookies.

Another reason why there is a huge price difference has to do with greed. Some people just want to make a killing at any given opportunity. Even though the buying price could be different in Durban, there is very little nor any justification at all as to why a Honda fit for example could be selling for $1800 in one dealership may cost $3200 in another or a Toyota hiace 3L selling for $6000 in one garage could be selling for $8000 in the other dealer, same make same model. This to me is pure greed on the part of some dealership owners.

So Is There A Fixed Price For Any Kind Of Used Car From Japan?

The answer to this is a huge NO. There is no vehicle with a fixed price. All prices are negotiable and the prices vary from dealer to dealer. Which brings us to the point and importance of shopping around Durban dealers when buying used Japanese vehicles. This will save you money and this also get you the best vehicle in town. Bear in mind that the vehicles are second hand, they had different owners who treated their vehicles differently hence their condition can never be the same.
