SINGAPORE Vs JAPANESE VEHICLES : A COMPARISON

Singapore Vs Japanese Used Cars : A Comparison

Singapore Vs Japanese Used Cars : Which One Is Better?

Singapore Vehicles are slowly but surely penetrating the African Market of used Vehicles. Most people however do not know the difference between Japanese Vehicles and Singapore used Cars.  For those who know or assume to know,  the question they always ask themselves is,  Which Is Better Between a Used car from Japan and a Used car from Singapore.

Based on our personal experience (we have driven and still use 3 Singapore cars and 2 from Japan),  the Japanese cars top the list and way better than the Singapore Vehicles.  Most customers who know about cars always prefer to buy Japanese and not Singapore Vehicles.

Last month for example, we sold a total of 15 Golf 5 Gtis.  7 were from Japan and 8 were from Singapore.  5 customers who bought the Singapore ones had complaints, mainly mechanical complaints. Out of the 7 who bought the Japanese ones only one had a complaint.
Also based on Customer complaints and feedback regarding these vehicles, we can safely say that 90% of the complaints come from clients who would have bought the Singapore Vehicles. We do get complaints from Japanese Cars clients but they are not as bad as the Singapore ones. So in this vain we can safely say Japanese cars are way better than Singapore Cars. Japanese cars are stronger and more durable than Singapore Cars.

WHY DO PEOPLE BUY SINGAPORE CARS IN DURBAN?

People buy Singapore Vehicles for various reasons. Below we look at some of them.

Price: This is a bit debatable.  Some Singapore vehicles,  especially SUVS are way cheaper than their Japanese counterparts. As a result most people who buy these cars for reselling normally buy used cars from Singapore because they are cheaper,  and they are likely to make more profits when reselling in other countries like Botswana,  Zambia or Zim. The downside is that even though you buy the Singapore cars Cheaper,  you are most likely to spend more money fixing the car and buying Spares for the car. So you need to make a wiser choice when choosing between a Singapore and Japanese Vehicle.

•Full House/Leather Interior : Anyone and obviously most people buying a car would give first priority to a car that comes fullhouse and mostly with Leather interior. Most or say 99% of Used Japanese Vehicles do not come with leather seats. On the other hand 99% of Used Singapore Vehicles come with leather seats.  That is one of the reasons why people buy vehicles from Singapore in Durban. However once you have a breakdown on your way to an important meeting or during an emergency,  then you will know that durability of a car is more important than leather interior.

The names of the cars : Some people buy Singapore Vehicles because they like the names of the cars more than anything else. This deserves an article on its own so i will just explore this in passing. You get some clients who want Mazda 3 not Axella,  some need Yaris not Vitz,  some need Mazda 6 not Mazda Atenza,  and others need Honda Jazz and not Honda Fit. However the truth is beside some slight differences,  Honda Jazz and Honda Fit is one and the same thing,  Mazda 3 and Axella same thing,  Vitz and Yaris same thing. The main difference is that one is from Singapore and the other one is from Japan. Another major difference worth considering when buying these cars is that Japanese is more durable,  is stronger than Singapore.

So Which Is Better: Japanese or Singapore Used Vehicles?

The final verdict should be yours. The article just gives you our own analysis which might obviously be biased. Our biasness emanates mainly from our own experiences and from the experiences and feedbacks of our Clients. We have clients who have bought both japanese and Singapore cars,  and obviously their concerns are our concerns,  their complaints affect us both directly and indirectly. A happy customer brings in more business through referrals. An unhappy client rarely recommends another client. Most of our happy clients come from those who buy used Japanese Vehicles. Most of our unhappy clients come from those who buy Singapore Vehicles.

WHICH IS MORE DURABLE BETWEEN JAPANESE AND SINGAPORE VEHICLES?

The truth of the matter is that Japanese cars are more durable than Singapore vehicles. This is mainly due to the fact that Singapore cars corrode faster than Japanese cars. This partly also explains why the Singapore makes are way cheaper than their Japanese Counterparts. Before buying these cars, think Corrossion, think Mechanical problem and think Durability. The car might be cheaper to buy, but it will obviously cost you more in the long run.

So these are some of the things you need to consider before sending someone to come buy a car for you in Durban or before you buy your car in Durban. If you are sending someone to come buy on your behalf,  always specify whether you   need Singapore or a Japanese used Vehicle. Most go for Singapore because it leaves them with a bit of change in the pocket. Most will convince you that they paid a little bit more because the car has leather interior and sunroof yet price wise its way cheaper and less durable than its Japanese counterpart.

Compared to some previous concepts, the look is very little changed. Retained dynamic lines and sharp form. These characteristics contribute to a lot of front and rear LED lights and angled roof line. By customer request, the roof can be panoramic, made of glass and is slightly thicker than a conventional roof. Rear glass is divided into two parts and it may interfere with the drivers because it affects the visibility of the road behind you. This could be a disadvantage compared to the perfect front part of the vehicle.

The feeling when driving should meet the needs of the average driver and family man. Engine braking is not necessary because the SUV contains CVT transmission. However, if nevertheless, you choose to drive such a way, when driving in sharp bends maybe you will feel the delay in response of the vehicle. Slight throttle and turning the great wheel, you will simply feel the AWD system transmits power to the wheels. During all maneuvers, the body is not tilted much more, while the trim reliance good.
